New to our portfolio: Jeio Tech’s safety storage cabinets offer 90 minute fire resistance according to European standard (EN14470-1). This new range of Type 90 safety storage cabinets are robust, secure and come with a number of safety features as standard.
Safety features
Fire resistance: Type tested in accordance with European standard EN14470-1 [1].
Fire test according to EN 1363-1.
Fire response: Cabinet doors will automatically close if the temperature reaches 50°C.
Automatically sealing ventilation: Ventilation and exhaust holes will automatically close if the ambient temperature reaches 70°C (±10°C) preventing the flow of heat from the outside, in the event of a fire.
Safe ventilation: These cabinets feature a ventilation system that prevents the built up of flammable gas or vapour within. Cabinets can be connected to an existing extraction system, alternatively an optional extraction model (EM-33) can be fitted for filtering flammable gases [2].
Safe storage: An effluent reservoir/sump assists with safe-handling of any leaked materials.
Robust and secure
Jeio Tech’s safety storage cabinets are robust with a chemically-resistant interior and shelves. The shelves are 30mm deep and can store up to 80kg (per shelf).
The cabinet walls have a triple-insulated structure. Whilst the doors are fitted with door stops for convenience and locks to prevent unauthorised access.
A forklift space at the base of the cabinets and levelling feet, aid transportation and installation, respectively.

Options include: Stainless steel shelves, drawers (epoxy-coated steel or stainless steel), PP trays, stainless steel collecting reservoir/sump, EM-33 extraction model and filters.
