We offer two levels of breakdown cover to suit different budgets. However, all of our customers with breakdown cover in place (Level 1 or 2) are prioritised ahead of any non-contractual call outs.
Breakdown cover is particularly useful for ‘mission-critical’ equipment when unscheduled downtime must be minimised.

When investing in laboratory equipment from Medline Scientific, our customers will expect many years’ of trouble-free use. We have tailored our laboratory support services so that, in the unlikely event of a breakdown or downtime, we are ready to respond quickly and effectively.
Our annual service agreements provide you with the peace-of-mind that you are protected in the event that something should go wrong once your unit(s) passes out of its manufacturer’s warranty period. We currently offer two packages across our range of equipment.
Level 1 warranty cover
Ideal for non-mission critical equipment; items that will cause operational problems or delays if they are not functioning for a prolonged period. Any work or visits are undertaken during our standard working/operating hours.
Level 2 warranty cover
Designed for equipment that is either mission-critical or will cause severe operational problems in the event of prolonged product failure. Any work or visits are undertaken during our standard working/operating hours.
*Refers to spare parts required for the repair/exchange of an integral item that has failed and does not include consumables, failure through fair wear and tear or any item damaged through neglect or misuse. Written quotations will be provided for any non-contractual repairs or non-supported scenarios.
We have been servicing and repairing our own equipment portfolio for over 10 years with a dedicated service department at our headquarters in Oxfordshire. Our repair services include both return-to-base and on-site options for a wide range of laboratory equipment. Any work or visits are undertaken during our standard working/operating hours.
