The new VAULT100 ULT freezer from Stirling Ultracold is available from Medline Scientific. It’s the first ULT freezer with a temperature range of -20 to -100 °C. This model also boasts the best temperature uniformity and adherence to setpoint currently in the market.*

In addition to delivering on performance, Stirling Ultracold takes a 360-degree approach to sustainability factoring in energy, temperature, infrastructure, and space-efficiency.



360-degree Sustainability:

The new VAULT100 freezer has been designed to offer lower lifetime cost of ownership through running efficiency and maximising storage to reduce the operating costs per sample and deliver industry leading energy-efficiency per sample.

How?

This freezer incorporates a new robust, free-piston Stirling engine that is more efficient than most standard compressor-based alternatives, even when operating down to -100 °C setpoint.

By also offering the largest storage volume per square foot of floor space, the VAULT100 significantly reduces infrastructure footprint, plug load and carbon footprint. The high-density cabinet optionally holds up to 700 2-inch boxes.** This not only allows labs to use fewer units to store comparable sample volumes in a smaller space, but saves energy and related carbon emissions by using less freezers over operating lifetime.

Finally, the wide temperature range (-20 to -100 °C) enables labs to match the setpoint temperature to suit the sample type.
