The PreciPoint M8 Digital Microscope Scanner is constructed as an all-in-one system, allowing users to carefully examine specimens using low magnification objectives.
Apart from usual examination techniques of a single objective field of view and its scanning function, this microscope scanner features “Live-Stitching” that enables a larger field of view to be formed within a few seconds without objectives needing to be switched. The specimen can potentially be moved through as individual images are captured and stitched together at the same time.
PreciPoint’s M8 is a dual purpose microscope and whole slide scanner with live remote control functionality. Although the M8 can be controlled via a Windows PC with a 2K (or, preferably, 4K) monitor, the best experience comes when using a high resolution touch screen computer – making it a truly “hands on” digital microscope. The intuitive software allows for easy navigation through your microscope slides with just the touch of your fingers. Perfect for frozen section consultations.
With everything automated and digitised, there is no need for oculars and manual focus knobs and no need for the condenser to be focussed and centred.
