The sensitive 11mm (2/3in) monochrome CCD image sensor provides a maximum resolution of 1376 ? 1032 pixels with 14-bit dynamic range and 15 frames per second (fps) at full resolution.
Large 6.45?m pitch sensor with 10?C cooling (at up to 25?C ambient temperature) delivers excellent resolution and sensitivity. Up to 160 second exposure time. Three binning modes – 2 ? 2, 4 ? 4, and 8 ? 8 – for higher sensitivity and a faster frame rate so that you can focus quickly, reducing phototoxicity.
The system automatically switches between binning mode for live streaming and high resolution mode for image acquisition to reduce photobleaching while optimising the setting parameters.
