CoolLED designs and manufactures cutting edge LED Illumination Systems for researchers and clinicians using the latest LED technology.
The UK company introduced the first commercially available LED Illumination System in 2006 and since then has led the way in transforming LED microscope illumination for fluorescence microscopy, transmitted illumination and beyond.
The eight-channel pE-800 LED Illumination System delivers the highest quality data with ease of use and minimum total cost of ownership, making next generation LED illumination accessible to all. All eight LED channels are individually controllable via software, graphical user interface or lightning-fast <7 µs TTL switching, which is ideal for high-speed imaging applications.
The pE-4000 is the broadest and most versatile illumination system available, with 16 selectable LED wavelengths across four channels covering 365-770 nm. Extensive control features also make this the ideal system for advanced research applications.
The pE-300 Series is a popular and sustainable range of three LED Illumination Systems for fluorescence, optogenetics, electrophysiology and high-speed microscopy applications. The simple pE-300lite is the ideal white-light alternative to metal halide, while the classic pE-300white offers a step up with software integration and individual channel control. Fast, controllable illumination is achieved with the pE-300ultra, which offers advanced features such as inline filters and Sequence Runner.
The systems are unique in being available as a Direct Fit model, which increases irradiance and reduces the cost to buy and run thanks to fewer consumables. They are also ACT Label certified for labs wishing to become more sustainable.
The pE-100 series is a family of single-wavelength fluorescence LED illumination systems, which are ideal for routine clinical screening, electrophysiology or basic research applications. 20 different LED wavelength options are available, and all offer a compact design, simple operation and high-speed TTL control.
The pT-100 series includes the broad white pT-100-WHT, which is a safer and convenient alternative to halogen. Three narrow-bandwidth variants (525 nm, 635 nm and 770 nm) are also available, and all are compact and provide high-speed TTL control. The pT-100-WHT and pT-100-770 nm are also available as variants with a liquid light guide attachment, which is ideal for electrophysiology applications.
